Buffalo ORC, in collaboration with the Buffalo State Great Lakes Center, is working to deploy a new weather buoy to replace the Buffalo Harbor Sailing Club ‘C’ Mark, located at the site of the old Departure Buoy. By relocating the weather data collection point away from the city, where local geography can effect the data, this new buoy will significantly enhance the accuracy of the PCS Constructed Course system and support our race committee in making informed course decisions on race night.
